in the beginning

Abbey Move was founded in 2001 by it's Director and owner Steve Mabberley.

Since it's original conception (when the company had one 7.5 ton lorry and only two employees - Steve himself and one other member of staff) Abbey Move has rapidly grown in size and has also built up a great reputation for professional, reliable and competitively priced removals and storage.

expansion and growth

All our business operations now run from our own warehouse with office and storage facilities. Our fleet of vehicles now includes many specialist removal vans and lorries.

Our rapid growth now means we have more employees and Abbey Move now has many more trained staff, including drivers and porters, to help continue our pledge to provide our customers with a first class service.
